How to grow your hair

Ladies this process worked for me, it may not work for everyone though!

I started growing out my hair in december 2011, and to avoid that awkward hair stage i had my hair stylist put in hair extensions with the micro links (warning: take a advil before and wash and massage your head after, you will thank me later!!). I kept in the hair extensions until August of 2012 since i was living in Austin it was too much of a hassle dealing with the hair extensions, so i had my roommate at that time take them out and boy did that hurt!! After i removed the extensions my hair was about half an inch above my shoulders. In late November i moved back to DFW and the hair stylist that i went to who is now the hairstylist i go to, she made me get regular trims every 4-8 weeks, which i never thought that would help my hair grow but it does!! Also since you are getting regular hair trims you eliminate all the split ends so while your hair is growing out it isnt so brittle. I made sure i took care of my hair with the proper hair products, my favorite shampoo and conditioner hands down is the hydrate Pureology each $30 which is kind of expensive but well worth it! To conserve my shampoo i would mix and match my shampoos which i tend to use the volume Bumble and Bumble with the Aveda hydrate conditioner. After washing your hair always make sure to use a heat protector, again my favorite is the its a 10 (not sure how much it is at retail).

I also did my homework and asked a lot of my friends with long beautiful hair, they all said they use biotin vitamins which i wish i used to make this process go by quicker, but as long as your doing everything that i said step by step plus taking biotin vitamins you will have long beautiful hair in NO TIME!!!<3

Hope this all helps and check out the video on this on my YouTube Channel
